Gedu Andargachew Alene (Amharic: ገዱ አንዳርጋቸው አለነ; born 13 August 1963) is an Ethiopian politician who has served as the National Security Affairs Advisor to the prime minister of Ethiopia from 4 November 2020 to 9 June 2022.
He served as president of the Amhara Region from 2013 to 2019 and served as deputy president of the region and head of the agriculture bureau.
