    Biography of Marella Agnelli

    Marella Agnelli, an Italian socialite, art collector, style icon, and the widow of former Fiat Chairman Gianni Agnelli, was born Princess Marella Caracciolo di Castagneto in Florence.

    Her father came from a noble and highly respected Neapolitan family. Marella received her education in Paris, where she developed an interest in fashion and later worked as an assistant to renowned photographer Erwin Blumenfeld in New York.

    Continuing her career in the fashion industry, Marella worked for publications such as Vogue.

    In 1973, she launched her own textile line, for which she received the "Roscoe," a prestigious design award. Additionally, Marella gained recognition for her achievements in gardening and authored several books on the subject.

    Her books, "Garden of Ninf" (1999) and "The Agnelli Gardens at Villar Perosa" (1998), became quite popular.
