She is popular for playing role of Jeenat in long-run television show Jodha Akbar. Chetna has also worked in Khushiyon Kii Gullak Aashi, Laut Aao Trisha and Hathi Ghoda Palki Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki. She is originally from Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand.

Her mother Meera Kaintura is a District Disaster Management officer at Haridwar. She was always passionate about acting since childhood.
